My friend Chyna

This is my friend Chyna, another very pretty weimareiner. The first picture is her official headshot taken on the beaches of Malibu. They almost put it in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue, except she's naked and not wearing a swimsuit, so they had to shelve it. She's a little out of my league though.

Here's a picture of the two of us in her daddy and mommy's kitchen--Auntie Bree and Uncle Gabe to me. I am whispering in her ear about how we plan on sneaking the six pack of Coronas back up to her room. Unfortunately our plan was thwarted by Hank the cat, who ratted us out. But we weren't mad because every year Hank has to get his annual lion cut and we can make fun of him endlessly for that.

I Know When to Hold 'Em

And Daddy Mike knows when to fold 'em!

That's why we make an excellent poker team. Check out the serious poker face I have on. My uncle Gabe took this picture when we were hanging out at my friend Penny and her parents, Brian and April's house. I think Uncle Gabe was trying to distract me so he could bluff his way into winning. But I am too smart for that.

I was winning that night for a while but someone kept giving me cans of Budweiser and the next thing I knew I woke up in Penny's bed without my harness on. Things are a little awkward between us now but I am hoping we will be able to move past it.

Another Baby Photo

This is me when I was about two and a half months old. I had only been living with Mommy for a few weeks but i was slowly starting to get the hang of navigating her apartment. It's only a small studio so it was fairly easy. Anyways, looking at this picture is funny because I was so tiny and Mommy and Daddy Mike thought I wouldn't get much bigger. Hahaha. I'm also cute as hell in this one. And Mommy didn't know it then, but I pooped in her closet. Oh, good times!

My friend Jane

This is my friend Jane. You can't really see her but she's a weimareiner and really pretty. Yet, I don't know if she likes me or not. I mean, I like her, but I don't like like her. If she likes me like, like likes me then maybe I would like her like that. I tried to ask my friend Penny if Jane likes likes me but Penny said I should ask her myseIf. Well, when Jane was over, I barked at her to play with me but she didn't want to. Still, she drank all my water so I think there's some hope.

I win, I win!

This is me and my friend Luke playing tug of war. Last time I saw Luke, he weighed like 5 pounds. But this puggle kid is really getting big! I wonder how big he will get when he's full grown. Currently, I am 25.5 pounds. I lost nearly three pounds during my allergic escapade. It's really good though, because beach weather is just around the corner and my harness was getting a little too snug in the belly.

Mommy Takes a Vacation

So the other week, I got really sick. I don't know what I sniffed or licked on my walk but Mommy went out for an hour and by the time she came back my face was swollen to twice the size and I had hideous welts all over my body. I could barely see, my eyes were all squished up! Mommy took me to the hospital and they shaved my arm and put in an IV and gave me all sorts of shots. Five hours later, I was all better and looking fine as ever. I had to go back again to the hospital later that night though because my hives came back on my face, but they gave me one last shot. And I've been good ever since.

Anyways, Mommy said she had enough of the doggie drama so she flew to Florida to see Grammy and Grandpa. Which means Daddy Mike is taking care of me!! Yeay! This is a picture of the rib bone that Daddy Mike brought home for me one day. He got it from some rib restaurant, and boy did it taste good. But I think Daddy Mike got in trouble with Mommy for giving it to me. Then Daddy Mike took it away after I tried a bunch of times to bring it on to the couch. Oh well, I still got to lick most of it. Yummy.

Christmas Time at My House

This is me at Christmastime. It was really hot this day in Santa Monica when they took this picture. But Mommy and Daddy Mike insisted I wear the hat for this Christmas card. Even though I was smiling in this first shot they used another one below because Mommy said you can see more of my Santa hat. But I think it's because she looked better in that one. She's so vain sometimes.

I Sit Funny

Mommy and Daddy Mike noticed very early on that I sit sort of funny. Then the people at LA Dogworks commented on it too, saying it was the cutest thing ever.

Well, I don't see what's so cute about it. I sit like that! So what? Maybe if Mommy hadn't fixed me so early on I wouldn't sit that way. But I don't care. You all need to stop hating. I like it and its comfortable.

My friend Buttons

This is my friend Buttons, another Frenchie! She works at the store down the street, DoggieStyles in Beverly Hills. Everytime, mommy and I go outside I try to take her to Button's place. Sometimes she lets me go, most of the time she says no. Buttons is way cool. She's like an older sister. She always has really neat clothes and jewelry.

When we go there, she likes to show me that she's in charge. But after a while, she softens up and lets me chew on her toys. She also has a brother Hemi, who is a Boxer. He likes me a lot. But because he's so big sometimes he's not allowed to play with us small doggies.

In these photos, I am wearing a harness made by Puppia. It's really good and feels nice and soft. But I like to eat the clasp on it and Mommy's already had to buy 3 of these. Daddy Mike calls them my 50 Cent jacket after the rapper. He's so funny. More so than Mommy.

Sleeping Like a Baby

This is me during naptime. Mommy said I looked so cute that she had to take a picture. But I was like, "Mooom. I'm sooo tired. I went to the dog park today and your apartment doesn't have any air conditioning. Sheesh!"

This is how we do it

So these are my peeps chilling at the Frenchie Convention last October in Sacramento. They get together and party with their owners. Then they have some tough days of judging where they have to be obedient and stuff. But finally, at the end of the show, they get to have a costume party.

I think one of these Frenchies was a cheerleader and the other some sort of Parisian fashionista. But this poor guy had to put on a skunk costume.

He won first place though!

I would have liked to been a show dog but mommy fixed me early on so I wouldn't get fat. I showed her though! Hahaha!

Also, if you ever wanna see a Frenchie litter from birth to the day our ears pop, these people put together "The Miracle of Life" for Frenchies.

More Baby Photos

I was so young here. I don't even remember these people! I do know that there was a litter of English bulldogs around the same time I was born. So that must be the English bulldog in the pic with me. I did have a brother Billy. He was all white with a little honey spot on his back. But I don't know where Billy is now. I hope he ended up in a good home like me!

My friend Bogie

This is my friend Bogie Cooper. He's a boxer. And a pretty darn good-looking one too. Bogie used to live in San Francisco but decided that he wanted to be where the action was, so he moved to New York City. While his mommy is at work, Bogie likes to day trade and meet friends for lunch at places like Cipriani and Pastis. This picture is of him at his country home and he is playing with a dog toy just to amuse the human beings that pamper him.

My friend Seamus

This is my friend Seamus. We are exactly the same age, except he's a golden retriever. He lives in Maryland with his parents Molly and Dyer, Mommy's friends. I am jealous because he got to play in the snow, but glad that I didn't get snowballs attached to my fur like him.

Seamus also got his doggie GED, which I never got because Mommy and Daddy Mike said I was gifted and decided to homeschool me instead of sending me to puppy school. I think puppy school would have been fun. I could have been around kids my age instead of hanging with my folks all the time.

Jersey Boy

When I was still pretty small, I went back to visit New Jersey, where my mommy is from. I thought Jersey was pretty cool. Even though it was kinda cold when I was there in April. I had a big backyard to run around in thanks to Gram and Grandpa. And I got to meet some interesting dogs. Unlike Beverly Hills, there were only big dogs in my mommy's neighborhood. I liked them a lot but some of them just barked at me. Oh well. I did have one complaint. My mommy put me in this ridiculous sweater. I felt like Johnny Guido getting ready to eat pizza in Hoboken. But I guess I was still pretty cute. Weight? 16 pounds. I was able to fit on the airplane. I can't do that anymore. :(

Halloween Costume

This year, I was an army man for my first Halloween. With a name like Tank, I guess it was expected.

Working Dog

My auntie Bree took me to work one day at a television production studio. It's really hard work. I got tired very quickly and when the big boss man came out, I hid under my desk. Just kidding, but under the desk was a nice place to nap. That and Bree's lap.

Uncle Tommy

This is me and my Uncle Tom. I like him a lot, mostly because he's from New Jersey but also because he lets me dig for buggies on his couch.

Using my voice

I've learned how to let Mommy know when I have to go outside for bathroom. I sit at her door and I whine. If she doesn't take me, then I start to bark. Sometimes, I whine and bark when I don't have to go to the bathroom, but I just want to play outside with my friends. I used to be able to trick Mommy but she knows better now.

My friend Luke

Luke is a puggle--a mix between a beagle and a pug. He's only 2 1/2 months old. I think he's ok, but everyone can't stop talking about him. When I am being bad, Mommy says she wants to trade me in for a puggle. It's not very nice, but Daddy Mike agrees with her. Anyway, he doesn't have big ears like me so that means I am still cooler.

My friend Penny

This is my friend Penny the Pug. Everyone thinks we are kissing in this picture but we totally aren't. Well, maybe I kissed her once or twice.

Cheering on the Raiders

Sometimes I like to watch football. My Daddy Mike puts me in the Raiders jersey but he got me #5 and this guy really stinks as a quarterback.

Me and Mommy

This is me and my mommy. I was still very young there. We were visiting the Fenns house and they weren't home. I was soo sad. Posted by Picasa

My Baby Photo

I was not happy here. It was my one-month birthday and I spent it with two stupid teddy bears. My ears were not up either and I was getting anxious Posted by Picasa

Learning to Fly

This is actually me right before they sent me to Beverly Hills. My ears had just "popped." I was probably around 5 pounds then Posted by Picasa

A New Home

I used to look like this. This was the first day Mommy and Daddy Mike brought me home. I was 7 pounds. Just a wee little guy Posted by Picasa

My Name is Tank

I'm a French Bulldog and I live in Beverly Hills. Yeah, that's right. Jealous? Anyways, I currently weigh 28 pounds which is big for my breed but what can I say? I'm pretty cool. I'm a total momma's boy and since so many people were asking her for my headshot, I just decided to start my own blog.

So enjoy!

(PS. I know. My ears are HUGE! And no, I don't get satellite TV with them.)
